O Thou, the Creator and Sustainer of our lives, pour Thy Love and thy Light on this couple who marry under Thy Divine Protection. May the Harmony of Thy Divine Nature unite them. May compassion kindle their hearts. Send on them Thy Divine Blessing, that they may be surrounded with good health, prosperity, success, and happiness. Universal Worship Service Contemporary - More emphasis is placed on the relationship of the couple, the mystery of creation and the on-going circle of life. It is one of life’s richest surprises when the accidental meeting of two life paths leads them to proceed together along the common path as husband and wife.  It is one of life’s finest experiences when a casual relationship grows into a permanent bond of love.  This meeting and this growth bring us together today. Contemporary Service Classic - Formal with or without communion. To witness and bless the joining together of «Bride» and Groom» in Christian marriage.  The covenant of marriage was established by God, who created us male and female for each other.  With his presence and power Jesus graced a wedding at Cana of Galilee, And in his sacrificial love gave us the example for the love of husband and wife.  Name and name come to give themselves to one another in this holy covenant.
